Did you miss the Web Management Challenges webinar? No worry

Over 600 people attended Gerry McGovern’s webinar on Web Management Challenges yesterday February 7, 2013. If you have missed it, grab this link and treat yourself to an hour of insight in other web professionals’ views and quotes about their challenges.

Gerry and his Customer Carewords team organised this survey at the end of 2012. Over 1000 web professionals in some 20 countries participated and chose their top worries and challenges. They also wrote down their comments in the open questions.

The result is a deep insight in how web professionals think and work in many countries, in different job functions, in different organisation departments. On the one hand it may comfort you that you are not the only one to struggle with web management, on the other hand it might point you to start working on solutions.

The first 15 minutes or so are about the statistical results of the survey, later on Gerry reads a good number of quotes that tell about real life when working with technology, content, hierarchy, etc. And the last 20 minutes Gerry answers to the questions from the audience of the webinar.

The video of the webinar is available as well as the full result spreadsheets. You can make your own analysis and have a more detailed look into similarities and differences in top issues and challenges between e.g. content and marketing people.
